15 month update

It's been a long time since I've done an update on Ava! This little girl has blossomed over the last few months!
Size: 27lb, 33inch long! 97% on all growth charts. I LOVE THAT SHE IS TALL, and has healthy thighs :) I could eat them UP!!

Sleep pattern: She sleeps very well, very routine, and ALL NIGHT. 12 HOURS. 7:30pm-7:30,sometimes 8:00am. :)

Food: She eats very well! She loves fruit (bananas, grapes, peaches, watermelon, apples, strawberries, blueberries, mango, applesauce), most veggies (corn, squash, peas, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots), baked chicken, sometimes beef, sometimes steak, turkey meat, bologna (like her papa), pasta, bread, cheese.
She is very independent and likes to feed herself and be a big girl. She can use a spoon quite well now. She has her own little bowl/plate set. (big sigh...she is growing up so fast)
She drinks 2% milk and water only, NO JUICE. The less sugar the better, AND juice does nothing for her nutritionally.

Talking: She is like a little sponge, so smart! Here are the words and phrases Ava has been saying and practicing:
mama
dada
nana
dog (followed by a "woof, woof" sound) soooo cute!
fish
bird
girl
cracker
cat
ball
what is it (sounds very jumbled together but so she's getting there)
thank you (sounds like" tink u")
Here you go
Awwwwww (she says this A LOT during the day giving hugs and kisses to me, dada, and her stuffed animals. She is so sweet)
Thats all I can think of right now...

Play:
She can point to her ear, nose, tongue, belly button, foot.

She loves puzzles and can point out the animals on the puzzles and place the puzzle piece back in its spot.

LOVES BOOKS. She loves to point out every thing on the pages that she can identify (bird, dog, flower, sun, moon, cat, etc.
Her favorite book at bedtime is still Goodnight Moon.

She loves her tricycle, megablocks and wagon, strolling her babystroller, play horses(she even makes a horse sound!), melissa and Doug hammer toys, playing in the pool, playing chase, "tickle time", our daily bike ride, music and dance time, playing Puppets, Playing Peek-a-boo, Her morning "tv cartoon time" she loves jack and the music box show, toot and puddle, sesame street. This child has so many toys, she loves playing with them all.... Loves being outside, loves animals. And LOVES to swing!!!!
She loves to play ball! Kick a soccer ball, or throw a ball....it's in her genes :) I know she is only 15 months but she has got talent. She watches mom kick the soccer ball around and now she does it all the time. I will enroll her at soccer city with the "little kicks" when she turns 2!!! FUN!

This is a brief update of our little Ava! I can still remember the day she was born or even the day we found out we were expecting! We feel so complete and can't imagine a day without her. My heart melts everyday with overwhelming love. She is so sweet, sometimes sassy and even the tough days when the "toddler 2's" are creeping out of her, I love her even more and am more patient and thank God for giving Bo and I a miracle.
